Downloading cover art without changing other tags

Hi,

I've downloaded MP3Tag to add cover art to around 1000 albums I have in digital format.

I've linked the application to my Discogs account and can search and download cover art without any problem.

However, if my version of an album doesn't exactly match the Discogs version, tags are being changed. This is most problematic if I haven't got a complete album (no idea why, but that's for another day) as the titles are being changed and then the tracks are mislabelled.

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious, but how do I search Discogs for artwork and only change the cover art?

I'm using the Mac version of the aplication if that is relevant.

Have a special look at the part which tells how to disable tag field information.
In your case only the cover should be ticked.

Thanks.

It was the difference between Save and Merge that I had not worked out. I was saving and then removing all the existing tags. Merging does exactly what I need.
