.dsf file metadata problem

I have several new .dsf files and I cannot write metadata to them - I get an error message “Cannot write to . . .. “. I checked on Google and Google says this file type does support metadata and recommends mp3tag.

I would check here:

You still would have to find out other problems like file integrity, access rights, correct file structure, simultaneous access with other programs.

Thanks for sending the example file I've asked for via PM.

I've analysed the file and it's only ~520 KB and half of it is mostly zeros. I doubt that this file will play anywhere.
