Empty folder

I by this I mean all I have to do is this:

1] Export ARTIST info from all files with this code

2] Open the list in Notepad++

3] Use the TextFX plugin as desrcibed in here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3958350...rows-in-notepad

4] Scroll down to the bottom of the list to see the number of individual artists

The only problem it is my third TXT editor that I have to use [for different very specific purposes]; and of course the fact that procedure is finished outside of Mp3tag. But better this than having empty folders or puting markers in them. And also, as I will use it only a few times in a year, it won't be a drag

I use Remove Empty Directories, works the best for me, as you can put folders / file filters that consider a folder empty - very powerfull

There have been some changes in Notepad++ leading to problems with its plugins- especially with the TextFX needed for that operation

Long story short I have read this whole thread https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/topic/16629/notepad-7-6-and-the-plugin-textfx but the solution provided there was not enough. So I started to read another one but stopped almost at the beginning of https://notepad-plus-plus.org/community/topic/17436/textfx-plugin-completely-missing/5

Because the author of it writes about the already built in options available in Notepad++ at

Edit > Line Operations

It seems that all I need now is to use one of the Sort Lines options, followed by Remove Empty Lines and Remove Consecutive Duplicate Lines. So the problem of TextFX being absent is no longer a point of concern
