error connecting to discogs

I am unable to connect to discogs. I get the following error:

"Error connecting to server: www.discogs.com"

I have v2.50 installed and unblocked from firewall. I can connect to amazon and musicbrainz. any ideas whats going wrong? I use discogs for all my tags. thanks.

I've got the same issue as well.

It'll let me search through a listing of albums, but when I click one, it always gives me the error after a few seconds.
