Extended MP3 Tags ?

Hi,

I have a lot of Mp3's and some of them have different "Extended Tags". What I would like to accomplish is to make ALL the Extended tags from ALL the MP3's the same.

Is there a way to select like 5000 MP3's at a time and have them remove any un-needed "Extended Tags" ? All the extended tags I'd like to have on ALL my MP3's are :

ALBUM
ARTIST
BAND
GENRE
TITLE
TRACK
YEAR

All other tags should be removed. Is there a way to use a bach process to do this. If yes, how ?

For clarification you have to know that there are no 'extended tags' but an 'extended view' to the tags. There might exist some musicfile owners who want to have only a small subset of the possible informative tags stored in their files, you are one of them.
