Feature Request - filters

#1

I've got a lot of folders in my music collection which have albums in where there's maybe one track with a missing tag. I can filter using ^$ to find files without a track/album/artist, but to Freedb query on that folder I'd need to remember the folder, remove the filter, navigate there and apply Freedb using all files in the folder.

is there any way to say "show me all the files in a folder, where one or more of the files have a blank track/artist/title/album"?

as far as I know: not by filtering.

we had that several times in the German section of the board
you are told to set up a column with the corresponding tag + sort by this column.
this is a quick solution for tags you've got a viewer column anyway but somewhat tedious for tags you don't have a column in the viewer already.

so I keep complaining about the impossibility to negate a filter expression.
maybe the subject gets more attention on this side of the pond !?

 andreas

PS mp3tag is a wonderful program nonetheless!!!

edit (after reading German section):
Florian implemented it: "invert" checkbox for filter value! way coool!!!
