My thought process here is basically just shrink the dialog that pops up when writing tag data down to a small progress bar in the bottom bar of the program, like some others do. I think it would be a nice streamlining of the workflow of the program. You can already do stuff behind the dialog anyways, so why not just get rid of it completely?
If you don't want to see messages why don't you disable them in options?
To be honest, I didn't realize this was an option, HOWEVER, I would prefer to still be able to see the progress, which I assume would become impossible if I disable the messages. Plus, other messages are still important to see.
Did you have a look at these options and have you tried whether they suit you?
So this is not really a feature request as the feature is already there?
The feature request is regarding to the progress dialog during writing of tags, not the confirmation message after writing tags. Only the latter can be disabled.
I've read the feature request. It's unlikely to be added, though.
