My first thought for a workaround was to just run a second instance, but that appears to be a highly contested topic. Your request is the most important part of what I would need to not want multiple instances. In my comment here Running Multiple Instances of MP3Tag - #17 by mark5000432 I proposed something similar, that I hope would be useful to more than just me.
