Feature Request: Remove leading zeros on metadata creation

EAC adds leading zeros when creating new files. These end up in the metadata as MP3Tag processes those files. Would it be possible to have the OPTION to strip out leading zeros when MP3TAG uses file names to create tags? I've always done it later, in a separate step, but it would be nice to have it happen automatically.

This would have to be an option, as some people like those leading zeros.

You already have that option as you can define a format string to create a filename.
E.g. to get a track number without padding zeros, use
$num(%track%,1)
instead of the simple %track%.
