Under File >> Export a save dialogue window appears of a fixed size. It would be nice to be able to increase the width of this window when you have a format string with four or more tag fields.
I don't know whether we speak of the same dialogue.
The one that opens with Ctrl-E is resizable.
Use the triangle in the bottom right corner of the dialogue to adapt the size.

Or is this something in the Mac version?
I forgot to clarify that I'm using the Mac version. I have two installs of MP3Tag on two Macs running different operating systems, neither one has a triangle icon in the lower right of the window. What's interesting is the export window behaves differently in each install.
On the computer I was working on when I posted this request, there was no ability to resize the window. Normally when you move the mouse along the window border the mouse changes appearance from a pointer to a double-sided arrow. I saw none of that behavior, see short screen video. I'm running Ver. 1.8.27 (113) of MP3Tag on Mac OS Ver. 11.7.2 (Big Sur)
The other install seems to behave as you expected in regards to the export window resizing. On this computer the same version MP3Tag is running on Mac OS 13.7.1 (Ventura)
This issue seems to be a fluke of sorts as I can no longer reproduce what I sent in the video capture. It is very weird though and was misleading when first encountered.
