I’ve just paid for the app because Sonos could recognise my album artwork. It’s a tedious process but at least your app recognises and put’s the artwork into my Sonos music library. It’s fantastic but I've hit my first hurdle:
There are 17 albums that have gone into my Apple Music folder (all either purchased , normal or protected AAC files) which don’t seem to be recognised by mp3tag. Well, they are recognised, just greyed out so when I press open, nothing happens. I don’t know why they have gone into a separate folder but it doesn’t seem I have the right permissions?
Thanks Florian. That helped. I have now exported my album artwork from iTunes to my Sonos Library. Thanks to your App!
Now for another question and this is my fault…
I have managed to separate an album and can’t put it back together. I was playing around when I first started and it says replace existing file. I’m not sure which one the existing file is…
I’ve done convert… keeps switching back. I save it once highlighted but it just creates another file…
Hi. I'm trying to put this last album into the mp3tag so it tallies with iTunes. I'm sorting my sound system and upgrading it. When I update my music library on Sonos it can't read this file because it can't be read because I have accidentally erased the tags. I am busy playing files so I can match each file to a song. I'm really not a computer guy and hope that I have made you understand a little...
This my Sonos system. I’ve been organising my library. I prefer to play my music through the library. I do stream but I like the sound quality better. Sonos pulls the music from my iTunes. Your app helped me tremendously with the Album artwork. Now I'm trying to tidy my system up. Find what I can use and play and what I can’t. I will have to invest in a Dolby Atmos speaker sooner or later. With your App, Sonos can read the files much better. When I paid for your app, I didn’t know what I was doing an erased the first album alphabetically. Everything else is perfect I just need to know what to type in, or drag or whatever so my tidying up can be complete…
So if you sort the files by filename via View → Sort By → Filename you have a basic order, but there is one outlier and that's the filename without a number. This should be on the 3rd position in the list and you can move this simply via drag and drop.
Now select all file, choose Tag Sources → MusicBrainz and enter
Artist: Bruce Hornsby
Album: 'Flicted
Select the search result and import the metadata to your files.
After that, you can rename via Convert → Tag - Filename using
