Formating Discnumber for all tracks at once

Hello,

I have tags with different structure like: 1/3, 3.
So I have the information of discnumber but don´t know how to format it.

Now I would like to have them all in same format like "1/3, 2/3, 3/3".

Please look at the picture attached,

Sorry, the picture does not give me any inspiration.

Select one file, which is a member of one disc.

Then apply a Mp3tag action, e. g. "Format value", ...
choose a field name of your wish , e. g. "DiscOfTotaldiscs", ...
set it to a string value, e. g. '1/1' ... or ... '2/1' ... or ... '3/1' ... or what you need.

Repeat this as you need it, e. g. for a second disc, ...
set it to a string value, e. g. '1/2' ... or ... '2/2' ... or ... '3/2' ... or what you need.

Or use the Mp3tag filelist, create a column with a tagfield name of your wish, ... and fill the cells manually with a proper string value, e. g. '1/2' ... or ... '2/2' ... or ... '3/2' ... or what you need.

If the directory name or the album name contains information about the current discnumber, then you may extract the discnumber from there and put it into a separate tagfield of your wish.

So you want an autonumbering wizard for discnumbers? What you describe is easy to do with tracks, but not discnumbers. Entering them manually is only difficult in a custom field, so I would continue to enter them once in the DISCNUMBER field by selecting the entire disk.
