freedb - overwrite only certain fields?

I'm wondering if there is a way to write only certain tags when I get the info from freedb? When I rip using EAC/LAME I put the CRC values in the comments field and I would like to keep those, even if overwriting all the other fields with info from the db.

FYI, I do tag with the freedb EAC/LAME option but sometimes they're wrong, or the album isn't in the db. It's in these cases that I need to re-tag.

Is there any way to do this? Thanks! :smiley:

You can enter < keep > in the first comment field on the freedb confirm dialog and choose Apply to column from the right-click menu.

This should work.
