General info for a beginner

As a very new one to the MP3 world please provide some info about the use of this beautiful application.

What I have currently on my PC is MP3 files in some directories. Usually the file name is in the format of:

Betales - Yesterday.mp3 etc.

What I would like to do is to burn the files into a CD, and play them in my car (I have MP3 car radio).

My question is:

Do I need to create IDTAG etc. in order to view the name of the Artist / name of song in my car radio ?

What are the main uses of this nice program ?

Yes, in most cases the car radio reads information from an ID3v1 or an ID3v2 tag.

Hard to tell, because everyone uses other parts of the program for his/her personal tagging process :slight_smile:

Simply try out some things, look at the help file and search the forum if you encounter a problem and if you don't find a solution feel free to ask.
