I seem to have a load of files (over 300) with the disk number shown as
1\\1 or 1\\2 or 2\\2 etc. (That is 2 backslashes between the digits)
I've tried a replace action but that doesn't work. The majority of my files show 1/1 or 1/2 (1 forward slash) etc and those can be dealt with a replace action.
Can anyone put me on the right track please.
Please press Alt + T on such tracks to confirm that you see 2 DISCNUMBER tags. One with the content of the first number and another one with the second value.
This would be a so called multi value field.
Then you have to decide what exactly you want to do with them.
Merge the two DISCNUMBER tags into one as 1/1 or 1/2?
To merge two (or more) DISCNUMBER tags you could use the Action "Merge duplicate fields" like this:
