I discovered the other day you can CTRL drag & drop mp3's into an open panel, adding them to an existing listing. Pretty helpful for how I do my tag cleanup routines. If you just drag them into the panel then you lose the existing listing.
Any other undiscovered niceties folks may have found out there?

PS: What I quite like: as MP3tag has a problem with large collections, I filter for certain criteria in iTunes first and then drag&drop the list from iTunes into MP3tag. MP3tag then loads only the files that you selected in iTUnes. WMP cannot do that, you have to create a playlist first.
Whaaa. Had no idea. Wish this was more obvious.
Yes it does.. iTunes is super powerful when it comes to creating automatic playlists, as the set of rules it allows is amazingly complete.
I also filter files using iTunes and then drag 'em to mp3tag.
Too bad iTunes doesn't allow us to work with the folder and filename fields.
Wmp does, but it doesn't let you drag and drop.
In the meantime MP3tag can deal with large collections when the library is switched on.
So my workflow had changed and I hardly use iTunes for that any more.
A better and quicker collection management program that combines the ability to drag&drop to MP3tag and to have an automatic update mechanism of its collection like WMP is Foobar2000.
