How do I append to multiple files while keeping original info?

Hi there.

I have a around 1000 files I need to append with "female" for my collection so I can play them for special occasions. The trouble is, I already have various tags for each song, and not every tag is the same. So, I don't want to end up with a Comment field that looks like "%identical comment here% Female" (without quotes). That is to say, I want to keep the unique comments original to each file.

How would I do this? It would be nice if I could just use the original "keep" function, but that doesn't appear to work. You know, like: Female.

Thanks.

Load the files that should get the amendment.
Select them all.
Create an action of the type "Format value" for e.g. COMMENT. During the creation you get a dialogue where you enter the following:
Format string: %comment% _ Female
Click OK and the action will add the string _ Female to the exiting comment.

I used the underscore as separator just in case you want to get rid of the extra word again. Like that you can easily replace it with "nothing" and do not confusion with possible entrys in the rest of the comment.
