Click on the poster's avatar icon and select "message" from the popup.
New users with trust level 0 cannot contact other forum members directly via personal message.
You need to participate in the community for a while to be promoted to TL1 or post your question publicly.

I noticed that it seems possible for us to communicate with level 0 members. From what I can see, I think it's possible for @LyricsLover to communicate with @musicollector.
So my question is: if I send a message to a level 0 member, will the system send my message to that member, or will it block my message from being sent?

I had already tried clicking on the L, but it did not work. I gather I don’t have the reputation, even though I had engaged in a thread last year.
I just wanted to apologize to LyricsLover because the thread was automatically closed last June before I could respond to him. Just in case I appeared rude to LL. My thanks to those who courteously responded there, instead of lecturing me to read the manual. My father passed away that week, hence, I did not pursue the thread.
