How do I edit preloaded genre list

I cannot find this question/answer although I'm sure it's here somewhere.

How do I edit the pre-defined genres in the dropdown. There are some in there that I will never, ever use (anime, bhangra, etc). And I don't want to see those unnecessary ones.

see here for a discussion about the standard list for genres

you can add user-defined genres, see File>Options>Genres
You can set whether you only want to see the user-defined ones.
