How to batch organize music files into album subfolders by genre using metadata (migrating from iTunes)?

Hi all,

I’ve digitized about 1,000 CDs over the years into iTunes, and everything was well organized there by Genre > Album. Now, I’m moving away from iTunes and have exported my entire library by copying tracks into genre-based folders on Windows (e.g., Rock , Jazz , Classical , etc.).

The issue is that within each genre folder, all tracks are lumped together—alphabetically or otherwise—but there are no album groupings anymore.

Each track still has proper metadata (artist, album, track number, etc.).

What I’d like to do:
Automatically sort and move tracks into subfolders by album (to create automatically) within each genre folder, based entirely on the metadata.

Can we do it with MP3tag ?
