How to copy track title from one to many albums?

I don't know if this is possible but I am getting serious about my huge music collection and I want consistent tags.

I have a huge collection and for certain artists I have the same album 5 times including all remasters etc. and I want the song titles consistent. If I load only the albums for a single artist and sort I can see all the same tracks listed in a block from different albums.

But, sometimes they are similar but don't actually match in formatting etc. or they are missing a question mark or similar.

What I want to do if possible is pick the track that has the title exactly the way I want it and copy it to all the other same tracks in different albums.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

Well, It isn't that hard to do it manually since it is usually only one or two that are not like the others but it would be nice to know if there is a way to do this.

You can load all of the songs from the first correct album. Select all and use the copy function (Ctrl-C in Windows).

You then load all of the other tracks from the untagged albums, making sure they are in the same order as the first one. Select all of them again and use the paste function (Ctrl-V for Windows).

May I suggest you put some kind of indicator in the Album name for each version. Append a suffix like [20xx Remaster] or [Hi-Res Download] for each one so there is something to distinguish the different versions.

Here is another approach:
Mark all the the files which should have the same title, including that one that has the title you want to keep for all.
Click on the little arrow in the right corner of the title field in the tag panel. You will see the content of all files you have marked.
Select the correct one out of these and save it for all.
