How to select certain multiple files in massive list?

So I have a massive file mp3 list (of about 10,000 songs) and I would like to select certain files but not all, so that I can import the same photo for certain songs, where is the option to select multiple files?

the only option I find is "Select All" but that is not what I want to do.

You can choose the files you want if you press CTRL and a mouse click.

Or you filter your list by pressing F3 and enter a value which all of your songs have in common, like the album name or an artist name.
