How to set the order in which tags are written in

#1

Pocket-Tunes (or pTunes) that I use to play MP3's on my Treo 650 displays the song information tags in the sequence in which they are written in the MP3 file. These tags appear in different order (sequence) in different files, all edited in mp3tag.

Here is what the developer said:
"Pocket Tunes displays the tag information in (approximately) the order that
they appear in the MP3 file. So your tagging program must be putting the
tags in a different order for each file."

Is there a way for me to rewrite the tags of my files so that the sequence is consistent for all files? Is there a way for me set the order of the tags?

Thanks.

I'm not sure if this would solve your problem but you can try it: Select your files, open the extended tag dialog via
:mt_tag: View > Tags...
and press the OK button.

That did not work.

Then it's not possible with Mp3tag.

Florian I think the sorting does not work on multiple files (anymore?)

Yes, I think it is (and was) only available for single files.
