ID3 Functionality from VBA or other Languages

Great application Florian, really, thank you. Now I code in many languages and was wondering if mp3tag exposes access to it's API. I've already found that it is quite easy to shell an instance of mp3tag to any folder I direct it to. It's a great feature and would like to crank it up a notch.

Is there a way to access any of the mp3tag functionality via VBA or other coding languages? In other words, make DLL calls directly and even better, have a DLL set which includes a TLB?

There already exist a few other DLL libraries which do provide an API via DLL binaries but your application is so very robust and well written, I was hoping that you had already thought it through, and had that type of API.

I can't tell you how to do that wiith Mp3tag.

I suggest that you have a look at taglib. This Library offers all the necessary functions for reading and editing metadata embedded into audio files like *.mp3 and many more media file types.

Does anyone have a compiled taglib library that works with Windows Visual Basic 6 (VB6) (II know .... outdated, expired, I need to change, I need to get with the program, etc. etc etc but it still works, so I'm still using it as long as it does.).
