ID3 Tags from Windows to Mac

Hi there.

I have edited a bunch of tags using the Windows based version of mp3tag and it worked great.

I then took these files which are edited and saved to my external hard drive and dragged them into Traktor 3 DJ software on my Macbook Pro 2011 and the song tags are shown as if they were not edited?

Do I need to use the Mac version of mp3tag for it to work like it did on Windows?

If the tag data is really in the files, then the data should be readable by all programs that know how to read id3 data.

I'm not getting much help on the Native Instruments Forum so I'm hoping someone here can help. I've used mp3tag to update my id3 tags, and the updated tags show up if I look at the track through explorer in Traktor Pro. However, if I look at the same track through Track Collection in Traktor, it still shows the old version of the tag. Can anyone please tell me how to update the tag info in Traktor's Track Collection?
