Image format ID3v2.3 and ID3V2.4

Hi!

I'm using the ID3v2.4 UTF-8 format to save my tags. This is because I want to see my comments in Windows Explorer (XP SP3).

The the problem is, that another program (SAM-Broadcaster) I am using isn't showing the saved images any longer. The cover images are visible in the 2.3 format but not in the 2.4 format.

Is there a difference in the image-format between ID3v2.3 and ID3V2.4?

Is there anything I can do to see the comments in the Explorer and the cover images in the broadcasting program?

You can only see the the comment because Explorer can't read ID3V2.4 at all so it shows you the ID3v1 tag.

You can try:
Set your tags back to v2.3 and in Mp3tag open "View > Extended Tags" and add the tag
LANGUAGE=eng

If it doesn't help try that: (for german windows)
