Image loss due to mouse clicks?

Sometimes when I click on the image, it disappears, without being able to enlarge it, because the image has disappeared?

I managed to reproduce the image disappearance:

You'll see in my video that I managed to make the image disappear when I click on it frequently.

Why does it do this?

Does this happen to any file? Or just this one? (I can't reproduce it).
Could you supply such a file?

Thanks for reporting the issue! I was able to reproduce it by changing the click into an accidental image drag operation, where the image drops onto itself.

Hello @ohrenkino, it's not just one file; I can reproduce the bug with different audio files.

I tested it on two Windows 10 computers, one Windows 7 computer, and I recently bought a laptop with Windows 11. I'm having the same problem...

Yes, wih the more detailed description that it is not only a double-click to open but actually a little "drag", I see it too.

I've just released Mp3tag v3.30a, which now detects those accidental drag and drop operations and prevents the cover from being removed.
