I think that you have unused space in tag panel, so this is my idea how this space can be useful and how to improve tag panel.
I already write about this (topic) but only with cover preview in tag panel.
Just look attached picture, and preview of my new export.

The cover art preview is nice but it occupied alot of space. Perhaps save a little more space for Lyric edit would be nice? Another idea that I have is tab browsing like foobar2000 playlist cause Mp3Tag need to load all the info on each change of directory so tab browsing will speed things up a little?
