I'm running Vista on a Dell Inspiron 1520 and am currently running v. 2.39. When I try to update to v 2.44 the installation is aborted with the message:
"Could not write file ‘C:\Program Files\Mp3tag\Mp3tag.exe’! Please close all running instances of Mp3tag and try again."
I've tried uninstalling v2.39 and then installing the new version but that doesn't work. But v2.39 can be reinstalled fine.
Please help, anyone!
Have you tried the whole process using an Administrator account? Is Mp3tag.exe still running if you look at the list of running processes in Task Manager?
