Is it possible not to order an album by year?

I have set it to sort (only) by album artist and I had 10 songs from 2021 on an album and I added the 11th because it wasn't part of the original album and it's actually from a 2020 single.
This made that 11th be the 1st and the other 10 the following ones. I have to put it in 2021 too so that it doesn't put it first.

Thank you for the attempt with the video .. but that is so small, i cannot read any data.
In general: where do you see the sort order that you do not like?
In MP3tag you can sort by more or less any column. Click on the column header to toggle the sorting order. Or use View>Sort by ...
If you want to get the files of an album in the correct order, it would be easiest to order by the field TRACK.
If you have not yet filled that field, drag&drop the files in file list while you press the Alt key. Then use the track numbering wizard Ctrl-K to get ascending numbers.

Out of the suggestions I made: which habe you tried and what was the result?

As an additional suggestion:
If your player uses the data in YEAR to find albums that belong together, it may be an option to set YEAR to be the same for all files in that album and to set the accurate year in the field ORIGYEAR.

The metadata can be updated and changed with mp3tag any way you want.

From your video, it Looks like you are using MusicBee to manage your library. You will have to check what sorting methods you have set up there to figure out why it isn't sorting the way you prefer.

I didn't know about that section. Ok. It works now. Thanks
