Is it possible to create a second box in the tag panel for Genre which will list the genres in the selected files?

In the tag panel there is no OK button involved.

There is no ini file envolved for user intervention.

To setup an additional edit field within the Tag panel dialog you have to apply "Mp3tags Options [Strg+O]", there choose "Tag-Panel" and setup the additional edit field.
