I recently transferred all my music from one PC to another and the
Album artwork has disappeared from my mp3 icons. The artwork
Still shows in VLC player when I play it, and mp3 tag adds artwork ok
In player but not to icons. Any ideas ?

So, if VLC, MP3tag and WMP still show the albumart then it is not lost, right?

Check n the Windows Explorer the display settings for your music folders: show at least medium sized icons. Also untick in folder options "always show symbols"

When this is the case I check:

  1. Tags are using tag type v2.3, not 2.4. Tags including artwork will not show in windows explorer.
  2. Then try scanning them with http://mp3val.sourceforge.net/.
