Despite it being a few weeks since I updated MP3tag, Malwarebytes decided during today's daily scan that it found a Trojan (Trojan.DLLHijack) in the location \Mp3tag\tak_deco_lib.dll. I don't see how this can be anything but a false positive, but I thought I should let you know just in case.
Same here. Showing, "Trojan - DLL Hijack". Note that virustotal (https://www.virustotal.com) shows zero detections for the DLL file (including, weirdly, Malwarebytes...).
Same issue here. MB also flags up mp3tagv326-x64-setup.exe
Edit: And older versions of 64-bit-Setup exes as well........320, 323, 325.
Edit 2: However, mp3tagv326setup.exe is not flagged
I just got a Malwarebytes trojan alert about a file in your latest release:
Trojan.DLLHijack, C:\PROGRAM FILES\MP3TAG\TAK_DECO_LIB.DLL, Quarantined,
Your thoughts?

Thanks. I'll tell Malwarebytes to behave properly regarding this false positive.
just read the other thread. good to know it was a false positive.
It seems to be fixed on Malwarebytes side now. Thanks to all of you for the heads up!
Here is the latest Virustotal report for mp3tagv326-x64-setup.exe:
