Many problems after Sonoma 14.7.1 update from Ventura

Hello, I recently updated my Ventura Intel Mac mini 2018 to Sonoma 14.7.1 in order to install the new Logic Pro 11.1 update and now mp3tag no longer works. I get the forever "spinning beachball" if I drag (or context menu) mp3 files to the editor. I also created a brand new macOS user account in Sonoma and copied the app from my 'other' user but it still gave me the spinning beachball (and I need to force quit the app). Only after deleting the mp3tag.app and downloading a new one from the site, it allowed me to drag or contextmenu mp3-files to the editor when saving just textual edits normally, but when I try to save album art, I get this "secure bookmark" message. I did the terminal thing and opend the folder within the app and this indeed allowed me to save, but opening a single file or files/folder outside the app still gave me the same error. No problems ever in Ventura.

PS the app has full disk permission and the same error in my 'normal' macOS user accounts (screenshot shows the 'shared' folder).

Since you already resolved the "spinning beachball" issue, it's difficult to say what's caused the problem. It's definitely not a common problem after updating from Ventura to Sonoma.

This is because on your previous installation, all locations of single file or files/folder outside the app had the permission previously granted by you.

If you encounter this issue, you can always try loading the parent folder from within the app to prevent this from happening. Ideally, you'd choose a folder that contains all existing and future files and folders you're working with.
