Is there a way to apply say an artist to several files at once instead of copy > paste > return > copy... Is there some action or anything I can do to edit several files at once?
I just figured it out. Quick Action > Format Value > string
You can also select multiple files, enter the artist in the Tag Panel and press the 
save button.
