Missing column that shows in explorer

I am having trouble finding a way to display the column "#". I see this column in windows explorer.

I searched the forums, but the "#" in the search input causes search failure.

Is there a way to make this column displayed and can it be changed?

Thanks in advance and I apologize if this is a simple fix.

The question would be what is the contents of that column? The track number?
This can be seen in the column "track".
If you are not sure what the field is called, then open the extended tags dialogue (press Alt-T) to see if there is a field called #
