Missing Composers from Discogs Tag Source v3.31k

I've been using the new Discogs Artist + Album Tag Source provided in 3.31k. I really appreciate the ability to import COMPOSER  .
I found a couple of instances where the results don't match the web page. I'm not really sure if these are issues with the API or the web source, or perhaps just edge cases:

  • Composer from the Credits section for specific songs is applied to all songs:
    • Result: Michael Been, Jim Goodwin (2)
    • Song Track & Title: 1 "Everywhere I Go"
    • Credits:
      • Producer, Written-By, Bass, Guitar, Lead Vocals – Michael Been
      • Written-By – Jim Goodwin (2) (tracks: 2, 8)
    • Discogs Listing:
  • Composer from Track Credit is provided but not composer from the Credits section:
    • Result: Joe Grushecky
    • Song Track & Title: 3-10 "Code of Silence"
    • Credits: Written-By – Bruce Springsteen (tracks: 1-1 to 1-15, 2-1 to 2-15, 3-1 to 3-3, 3-5 to 3-7, 3-9 to 3-12)
    • Track credit: Joe Grushecky
    • Discogs Listing:

Thank you for trying the new Tag Sources and for sharing your detailed findings! Much appreciated!

Discogs ID 13385290

Unfortunately, I can't interpret the track numbers from the credits section and distribute the artist names to the respective tracks.

What I'm doing instead now is to use the composer names including the tracks, so for your example this would result in

Michael Been, Jim Goodwin (2, 8)

Discogs ID 5904517

Thanks, I'm now combining the track-level and release-level composers, so that for your example it would result in

Joe Grushecky, Bruce Springsteen (1-1 to 1-15, 2-1 to 2-15, 3-1 to 3-3, 3-5 to 3-7, 3-9 to 3-12)

It now also removes the disambiguation numbers. Here is the current version of the Tag Source for you to try:

Discogs-COMPOSER-2025-11-11.zip (6.7 KB)

That works great. Thank you!
