A very peculiar issue all of a sudden. I need to move files from one directory to another. Normal procedure I've done hundreds of times. If it finds identical files I select the option to decide for each file and then review every file pair. Nothing out of ordinary. All of a sudden the conflict window is now showing me only 20 top results, and the rest is invisible/empty. Has anyone else experienced it? Steps taken: reverted to the previous build, rebooted my workstation. Ideas? Not sure if it is Windows or mp3tag that does it.
I tested with a folder of 69 files.
The behavior was as usual. 69 files were listed.
Where do you see MP3tag's involvement in a file system operation?
Where exactly are you doing this file move? In Windows File Explorer?
If you try it in Mp3tag:
Which Mp3tag version do you use?
Which Windows Version and build?
That's why I am asking. I was not sure where to look. I always use the latest build, and my OS is Win 11.
I will try using a different system today. I am curious now what it is. Just never seen this before.
Where do you start the file move?
In Windows File Explorer or in Mp3tag?
Mp3tag. I think I may have figured it out. Looks like it is a weird scaling/resolution issue.
I've RDP'd to the same device from a laptop. The remote host's resolution matched the laptop, and it worked like it should. May be something to do with one of the recent Windows patches. Thanks for your help, everyone, you've given me an idea where to look.
