Move subfolder out from parent folder & delete empty folder

note: this question is similar to what I've asked before but has different paremeters

how do i extract the subfolder from out of the parent folder and then delete the "now" emptied parent folder?

for instance

my parent folder is named: NNN_b_ThSOr

there is a subfolder inside of that named: The Salsoul Orchestra - Nice N Naasty (Expanded Edition) (2013) 320

I WANT TO moved the subfolder (The Salsoul Orchestra - Nice N Naasty (Expanded Edition) (2013) 320) up to the main directly

AND

delete the now empty parent folder named: NNN_b_ThSOr

You can rename only the current folder but none of the folders higher up the hierarchy.
The only way would be to move the files 1 folder up so that they are now in the folder named

and then, in a 2nd step, rename that folder.

Hi, To delete empty folders i use many years now Remove Empty Directories (aka RED)

I can vouch for RED as well. It is simple to use and helps clean up any directory where truly empty folders have been left behind.

You can even define files to be ignored in the 'Remove Empty Directories' settings and treat directories containing such files as empty:
