Good day, all and sorry for the bothering.
I’ve seen posts for the opposite (move featuring artist from title to artist) but in this ocassion, I need the opposite.
Actual Example:
Artist: Bad Woves [Featuring Daughtry]
Title: Hungry For Life
Desired Result:
Artist: Bad Woves
Title: Hungry For Life [Featuring Daughtry]
Any thoughts will be helpful, since I’ve tried options from other posts and invert the values without any success.
Try this suggestion and if it does not work (after the adaptation of the field names and parenthesis) show us what you tried.
Try
Guess value
Source: %artist% $regexp(%title%,(.*) \(feat\. (.*)\),(feat. $2) +++ $1)
Guessing Pattern: %artist% +++ %title%
For the 3-part-pattern try "Guess value" with
Source: %artist% $regexp(%title%,(.*) \(feat\. (.*)\)(.*),(feat. $2) +++ $1$3)
Guessing Pattern: %artist% +++ %title%
Thank you for your effort helping but, didn’t work.
To help you further: what did you try?
Just as you said.
Value Source: %artist% $regexp(%title%,(.*) (feat. (.*)),(feat. $2) +++ $1) Guessing Pattern: %artist% +++ %title%
Value Source: %artist% $regexp(%title%,(.*) (feat. (.*))(.\*),(feat. $2) +++ $1$3)
Guessing Pattern: %artist% +++ %title%
Nothing happened.
You left out:
Try:
%title% $regexp(%artist%,(.*) '\[Featuring '(.*)'\]','['Featuring $2']' +++ $1) +++ $1) Guessing Pattern: %title% +++ %artist%
Well, you almost got it, maybe it was a typo, since you’ve got an additional “+++ $1)”.
Value Source: %title% $regexp(%artist%,(.) '[Featuring '(. )']','['Featuring $2']' +++ $1)
Guessing Pattern: %title% +++ %artist%
Thank you so much and it’s finally working and if you would like, you can put it again as reply of yours, in order to mark your reply as final solution.
