Moving files by writing to _FILENAME

In Windows, it was possible to do:

Format value "_FILENAME": C:\Music\%artist%\%album%\%title%

For the MacOS native app, is it possible to directly write full filepaths into the _FILENAME tag?

I'm trying to figure out if forward slashes need to be escaped or what, but whenever I write to the _FILENAME tag, I end up with an MP3 file that is the same directory with some clobbered name, e.g., __Users__Aswin__Music__The Beatles__Rubber Soul__ Michelle.mp3.

MacOS uses forward slashed instead of back slashes. If you make that change you should get your folder structure back.

In addition, ~/ is the shorthand notation for your user folder, e.g.,

~/Music/%artist%/%album%/%title%
