I have some large mp3 files with languagelessions and I want to split these into smaller mp3 sections with each having it's ID3 data. Can anybody recommend such a program (freeware or shareware).

You can split mp3 files with Mp3DirectCut.
AFAIK it only supports ID3v1, but you can generate filenames, so it's easy to tag new files automatically with Mp3Tag.
