I'm told (but have been unable to verify) that an interoperability failure between mp3tag and another program here is due to mp3tag putting all zeros in the comment tag language field. That's a failure to conform to the ID3 tag.
Is this true? Is there a workaround? Is there a fix?

The latest dev. version writes eng as comment language.

BTW, any idea how the user may set the language?
It can only be changed by adding an undocumented registry key. But that's also a gobal setting.
