Drag & Drop works fine here with Mp3tag v3.28h.
From Explorer to Mp3tag. As "Copy" or "Move".
Is your tool called "Total Commander" (can't read it clearly)?
Which version?
You are right. From explorer to mp3tag everything is allright. Total Commander v11.50. I'll have a look for TC update...
with version 11.51 of TC everything is okay. Sorry my failure!
I had a look at the Total Commander changelog and doesn't list anything regarding Drag and Drop for Total Commander 11.51.
I've tried it myself and drag and drop from Total Commander v11.50 works fine here. It's possible that one of both programs ran under a different user account or admin-elevated. Drag and drop requires source and target processes to run under the same user account.

Same problem - Update to MP3Tag 3.28i and drag & drop stoped working.
I found the problem. When MP3Tag is launched through the installation routine, drag & drop doesn't work. As soon as you close and restart it, everything is back to normal.
That confirms what @Florian wrote above:
Usually, the software installation needs elevated (Administrator) rights.
Using the software itself - after the installation - only needs the current user rights.
I've now fixed this with Mp3tag v3.28k, where the installer starts Mp3tag non-elevated.
