i have some ogg files 320 but mp3tag can't see artwork. also ffmpeg can’t see or extract.
but another editor, Tag&Rename see artwork, like also kid3, foobar2000, and i can play on AIMP with full artwork
so, how to see artwork on mp3tag ? i need to select all tag from a list of ogg files and copy into same files but m4a (converted) and i do that, but missing artwork
(The "traffic cone" in the lower right corner comes from VLC, my associated software player).
However, I don't know how to "convert" the COVERART content into a standard embedded cover picture that would be displayed in Mp3tag.
foobar2000 see artwork and convert ogg to others format, with various encoder loaded from pc (fdk, qaac and others). nice one. just sad wonderful software like mp3tag can’t see that. hope maybe on future next version this function can be implemented, as foobar2000 do.
I'll most likely add support for reading the COVERART field. This way, it would be possible to just save the file to write the cover as METADATA_BLOCK_PICTURE.
I've added support for reading cover art from the deprecated field COVERART in Ogg Vorbis files with Mp3tag v3.32a.
I don't know how many files that are using this field are still in circulation (or if this file was the last of its kind), but rewriting now converts it to the recommended METADATA_BLOCK_PICTURE.
