Is there a way to make MP3Tag available in the right click shell menu when I search for mp3 files? I can select the files and drag and drop into MP3Tag but it is not always the most convenient way.
The standard installation also allows to create an entry as shell extension.
If your program also uses the entries provided by Windows, then you should have that shortcut.
It is not possible to get a shell extension in a portable installation.
I don't use any portable installation, neither for MP3Tag nor for Everything.
I do have the entry in the shell of the file explorer and Directory Opus.
Ah, I've forgotten the obvious.
regsvr32 Mp3tagShell.dll did the trick. Please close it
