Mp3tag for Mac v1.15 released
I’ve just released Mp3tag for Mac v1.15 and would like to take the opportunity to outline some of the new features and improvements:
The Tag Panel is where you can edit the metadata for selected files. It's possible to customize this panel to your preferences and add the tag fields you prefer to edit in your files.
With this release, it's now also possible to add bold Heading fields to the Tag Panel, making it easy to create nicely organized segments in the Tag Panel.
Beyond that, I also added support for Format fields, i.e., fields that are not editable and display technical information, like file length, bitrate, and many more. This new field type supports all the information fields and, for maximum flexibility, arbitrary format strings. So it's now possible to combine conditionals and multiple field patterns in one field.
I also released two minor updates since v1.14, where I mainly fixed issues that were introduced with macOS 27 Golden Gate. As usual, all improvements, changes, and fixes are listed in the Mp3tag for Mac changelog. If something is unclear or sparks your interest, please don’t hesitate to ask.
It's a free update! You can update the Mac App Store version via the Updates tab in the App Store app. If you bought the standalone version from my website, update from within the app via File → Check for Updates.
If you’re not yet using Mp3tag for Mac, you can try the 7-day trial version—only the days you actually use the app are counted.
Thank you for reading, and for your interest and support.
Enjoy and take care
