As I guess Mp3tag is probably older than many of its users and soon to be a quarter century old software (as far as I know the first versions were released around 2000, website 2001 according to Archive dot org), I just wanted to make a little post for me (or us) to show @Florian appreciation for creating Mp3tag.
It's incredible that you have kept it up for so long, constantly adding cool new features, involving with the community, adding user scripting, making it multi platform, the list goes on. And just generally being a nice fella. In my opinion it is the by far best music tagging and organising software and one of the most well made softwares in general. Thank you!
@Florian sent out a newsletter in may where he said he released the first beta on 24th of may 2000
I think also a shoutout to the unsung heros on the forums who to me sometimes seem to be online 40 hours a day, I mean they reply faster than ChatGPT. Especially @ohrenkino must have done more to support MP3Tag than any other support team for any other software I know of!
Ditto all of the above. I've been using Mp3tag for many years, and became a paid subscriber in 2020. Best money I ever spent.
Thanks for creating this wonderful program. I'm active in several music forum, and whenever tagging comes up, I'm always out there with "You need to try Mp3tag, it's amazing, does everything you could want".
