MP3Tag has worked super well for lots of shows I've obtained and needed to sort in Windows Explorer by methods other than filename. For instance "Toucan" comes after "Apple" alphabetically but I wanted Toucan first, so in MP3Tag I would take Toucan and in the Album column, Tag it 1 and Apple 2, and then in Windows Explorer "Sort by Album" and it would work fine. Toucan would come first.
However today it's just stopped working, slightly. I have a bunch of episodes of a show it did work on, but then I obtained the movie for the show from a separate place, and they're all .mkv files, but when I load the movie into MP3Tag and tag it as "149" (to mark it being 149th in line) in the Album section-- Even though MP3Tag does save this tag configuration and allow it to be sorted properly within MP3Tag's program itself-- When I go back to Windows and "Sort By Album" it just doesn't work for the movie. It's like it didn't recognize what MP3Tag did.
Which I believe is exactly what happened because instead of "Sort By" if I go to "Group By Album" it'll show me all the tags I applied for the episodes, but then the movie is at the very bottom and instead of "149" it says "Unspecified" so I have no idea what's up, but hopefully this explanation wasn't too confusing, and any help is appreciated. I can provide images if needed.
