Multiple id3s in a wavfile

Hi new guy here

Is there a way of adding and editing mutiple id3 tag types in mp3tag? Eg id3v1, id3v2.3 and id3v2.4 tags in a wavfile.

Yes. You can set the id3 tag type in
Options -> Tags -> Mpeg
Options -> Tags -> Ape, Mpc...

If you ask if it possible to add or edit mulitple ID3 tag type at the same time:
For WAV you can only do that for ID3v1 and ID3v2, but you have to set the subversion v2.3 or v2.4 separately.

I'm just curious:
Why would you like to have both ID3v2.3 AND ID3v2.4 tag types in the same wavfile?

AFAI can see, only 1 version is possible - and that has to be a V2 version.
I assume that this is due to fact that wav files have only one location for tags. And as V1 tags are at the end of a file, they would not be represent valid tags.

I'm having trouble getting some media players to show the metadata of wav files. I figured it must be some compatibility issue with the tags versions.

I would think that this is a lack of features in the player.
Support for tag data in wav files is still scarce.
Not even the WMP supports tags in wav files.
In some cases the support for FLAC files is better.
